Tim Reid, Jr., Kansas City soul-jazz vocalist/pianist/songwriter offers music from the great songwriters of the 20th Century including Cole Porter, Bill Withers, James Taylor, Stevie Wonder, always with a his own rich and soulful voice. Playing piano and singing ala John Legend, Harry Connick, Jr. or Nat King Cole, Tim has played jazz and original music all across the US. His professional career began in Chicago, from 2002-2010 including nearly two years touring full time, then continued in Orange County/LA in Southern California where Tim helped to build and operate a full service recording studio in Santa Ana while playing restaurants and clubs throughout Orange and LA Counties. Now with family roots planted firmly in Kansas City, he is becoming familiar among the live music lovers, appearing weekly at The Piano Room with the Waldo Jazz Collective, Eddie V’s with Tim Reid, Jr. Trio, and The Phoenix as host of the historic Phoenix Jam Session.
